Sarpi

Georgia's last beach: the Turkish border is a hundred metres away, and the water is clear to a four-metre bottom.

Sarpi is a tiny village at the border crossing, with a beach to match: short, rocky and with the most transparent turquoise water on the coast. The rocks at either end are the local attraction — kids and adults alike jump from them.

There isn't much infrastructure — a couple of cafés and lounger rental — which is exactly why people love it. For a dash of exotic, you can cross the border on foot and have lunch in Turkey.
